Stainless Steel Depot’s 40 oz Traveler Tumbler is another solid choice for sublimation. Reviews say it sublimates beautifully and keeps ice cold for days. Plus it comes with a stainless steel straw, unlike the plastic straws most tumblers come with.

Amazon lists the PYD Life 40 oz sublimation tumbler as one of its best sellers, so we had to check it out. PYD Life sells all kinds of sublimation equipment and supplies, and their sublimation tumblers also come highly rated. What’s unique about these is that they have some very bling-y glitter tumblers that look fun to customize.

Downsides: Reviews say these cups didn’t keep drinks cold for very long. And they list the weight per item as 3 lbs. We hope that’s a typo, because that is very heavy.

Time & Temp: PYD Life recommends that you press these tumblers at 356 degrees for 50 seconds on each side, or bake for 6 minutes at 356 degrees. They also provide wrap measurements in their Amazon product photos.

How do I sublimate around the handle of my 40 oz tumbler?

If your tumbler has a screw-on handle, it’ll probably come with the handle removed. There will still be little metal parts sticking out where the handle attaches, so you’ll have to wrap your design around them. Then when you’re done, you screw the handle back on with a screwdriver or other tool. Or choose the MakerFlo 40 oz Sublimation Tumbler, which has an easy-remove handle (sold separately)!

Can I sublimate the handle of the MakerFlo 40 oz Sublimation Tumbler?

Our removable handles aren’t designed to be sublimated, but they come in a sleek white or black design that adds the perfect accent to your sublimation design. If you don’t want to have a handle on your tumbler, you can create it and use it without the handle, too.

Can I sublimate other 40 oz tumblers like a Stanley or Owala?

Powder-coated tumblers like Stanley and Owala aren’t made for sublimation. You could possibly apply a sublimation coating spray and try to sublimate them, but it will likely chip off. However, these tumblers can be etched with a laser engraver.
