14 Christmas Vendor Booth Ideas for Holiday Markets & Shows

#1 - Decorate In Your Brand Colors

Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean you have to dress your booth in red and green! Stay true to your brand colors by finding Christmas decor that matches your color scheme.

You can see how @confluencecraftandco decorates her holiday booth with a white tree and colorful ornaments that match her brand aesthetic in this TikTok 👇

#2 - Offer Free Gifts & Holiday Specials to Draw People In

One of our favorite tips for vendor booths is to prepare something that draws people in. That could be free gifts, spin-the-wheel games, or holiday specials. You can use booth signage to advertise these freebies and deals as people walk by. It's really hard to walk away from a freebie or discount! Or try a holiday make & take where customers can create personalized Christmas gifts using your products.

A spin-the-wheel game like this one from Amazon can help attract people to your booth.

#3 - Create Holiday-Themed Products

Customers at a holiday market or show are often looking for holiday-themed gifts. You can attract these customers by including holiday-themed products in your lineup. That doesn't mean you need to revamp your entire product line-up, though. You can have a mix of seasonal and regular items that cater to different needs.

#4 - Hang Wreaths & Ribbons

Looking for a simple way to bring in the holiday vibes? A little bit of Christmas foliage (like wreaths or garlands) may be all you need! Dress them up with sparkly lights (see idea #13) or ribbons in red, white, silver, or your brand colors. 🎀

#5 - Choose a Snowy Theme

Not so into the red and green thing? We don't blame you. It's actually better to stay neutral with most of your decor so your products can shine. A great alternative is a white, blue, or silver snowy theme. You can use these wintry colors to make your booth feel seasonal and fun while still standing out from the crowd. ❄️

#6 - Put Holiday-Themed Items At Front of Booth

Another big tip we like to give crafters is to create a single point of interest at the front of your booth. Before someone can see your products, they need to become interested in your booth. One idea is to have a shelving unit or vertical display featuring your most eye-catching holiday-themed items. Put it at eye-level height so people don't miss it. That will draw people in, so they can check out your full selection.

#7 - Try a Balloon Tree

Snag this idea from @dashforward on TikTok and create a balloon tree! It's more fun and playful than a traditional tree, not to mention way easier to carry and pack down after the show.

#8 - Christmas-ify Your Shopping Bags

Don't go for the regular-schmegular shopping bags to package up your products. Extend the special holiday experience for your customers by bagging up their purchases in holiday bags. You could even offer gift wrapping for a fee to make your products gift-ready for the holidays!

Simply switching to red and green kraft shopping bags (like these ones from Amazon) can make for a more Christmas-y feel!

#9 - Keep Table Covers Simple

Don't rush out and buy red or green table covers. In our experience, these bright colors compete with your products and make them harder to see. Instead, we recommend choosing colors that complement your line-up, like white, black, or another neutral color. And you may not want to change out your table covers for the holidays at all. Repeat customers often recognize your booth by color, so it might be best to keep your table colors consistent for every event.

#10 - Curate Gift Sets of Your Products

This is prime-time gifting season, so you can be sure that customers are looking to buy gifts for others. Take advantage of this by creating gift sets or stocking stuffer versions of your products in cute holiday packaging!

Here's some inspiration from @customflowersbyroxx on TikTok. She fills her stocking stuffers with candy, but you could create something with small items or put together gift baskets full of your best-sellers 👇

#11 - Add Holiday Flower Arrangements

Another simple idea that doesn't break the bank is to add holiday flowers like poinsettias, amaryllis, holly, and white roses or gardenias (real or fake). Just make sure to keep real flowers high and out of the reach of pets and small children, as many of these are poisonous if eaten. With flower arrangements, you can add a sophisticated feel to your booth without going overboard on holiday decorations.

#12 - Transform Your Booth Into Santa's Workshop

Here's a fun idea that works for the holidays. Transform your booth into a mini Santa's workshop, as if you're selling things made by elves in the North Pole. You can create special signage and add little elves to make it feel real.

#13 - Add Christmas Lights

A little bit of sparkle goes a long way in creating that special holiday feeling in your booth! Make sure to consider the cost of electricity at your event or use battery-powered Christmas lights like these we found on Amazon.

#14 - Bring a Real-Life Santa & Take Photos with Customers

Here's one more fun idea for you! Why not bring a real-life Santa to sit at your booth? You can bring a jolly-looking friend who's willing to dress up and play along for the event, and bring a Polaroid camera to take pictures with customers! 📸

If you let the event planners know in advance, they might even promote your Santa photo booth for you 🎅
