What kinds of resin & additives can be used with resin molds?
We designed our resin molds to enable use with either UV resin or fast-set epoxy resin.
For UV Resin Ultra-clear silicone improves the light curing process and allows a longer work time, with shorter cure process.
For 2 Part Epoxy Your mixture can be poured directly into the tray and epoxy allows you to add more additives and pigments, like glitter and alcohol inks because the curing method is not light based.
What can you make with UV resin and resin molds?
With some uv resin, a resin mold and fillers or pigments like glitter, foil flakes, alcohol ink, flowers, gemstones, sea shells you can craft a variety of gifts and accessories ranging from earrings, charms and pendants for necklaces or bracelets, keychains and more! What's best about crafting with uv resin and resin molds, is that the cure time with uv light is quick (under 5 minutes) so it's easy to carve out a bit of time to get creative!
