Can the Epson F570 print from a phone or tablet?
No. Neither the Epson F570 Lite or Pro Sublimation Printer can print from a phone or tablet. You must have a computer running on Windows or Mac OS in order to operate these sublimation printer and it's software. You'll also need an internet connection.
What is a large or wide format printer?
A large format sublimation printer provides a larger print width for printing onto bigger sheets of paper for larger sublimation blanks. Large format dye sub printers generally allow for printing up to 24" wide and offer users the ability to print large designs onto rolls of paper up to 100' feet long.
This capablity makes large format printers great for sublimation crafters that specialize in printing custom items such as signs, banners, table runners, placemats, large throw pillows and more! The larger print width also allows users to maximize space and reduce paper waste by getting more designs onto less paper.
What's the difference between the F570 Lite and F570 Pro?
The main difference between the F570 Lite and the F570 Pro is the software that comes with the printer.
The F570 Lite offers the ability to print wide designs (up to 24") but does not come with the advanced printing software that comes with the Pro. With the standard system driver that comes with F570 Lite, you'll be able to print designs at high resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi.
The advanced software called Epson Edge Print Pro which comes with the F570 Pro offers users additional settings for print quality control, color accuracy and the ability to connect several computers up to the printer.
Which sublimation printer is best suited for tumblers and apparel?
Most full wrap design templates for tumblers, mugs, and drinkware can be printed on 8.5" x 11" or 8.5" x 14" paper using the Epson F170 SureColor Printer. While the F170 can print sizes up to 8.5" x 14" for some apparel designs, there may be layout limitations or challenges with larger sizes.
In contrast, a large format printer like the Epson F570 Pro or Lite can produce prints for a wider range of items, including apparel, home decor, banners, and signs. This is why many people interested in sublimating apparel, signs, or banners choose the larger format F570 printer.
The larger print width of the F570 allows you offer sublimated apparel of all sizes ranging up to 4XL as well as the ability to create all over printed apparel.

Sublimation Tumbler Times & Temps
The heat equipment you'll need for your sublimation projects depends on WHAT you'll be sublimating! For flat items, you'll want to use a heat press. Just starting out? Check the MakerFlo mini 7"x5" heat press! For sublimating cylindrical items like mugs and tumblers, you can use a mug press or an oven. We recommend a oven because you can sublimate up to 12 oz skinnies at a time (it's faster), and also ensures an even bake and result!
